What’s an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) and why might I want one?

ADUs can be used for many purposes, from housing aging parents or adult children to providing additional space or a home office or studio. We’ll have a representative from the City of Northfield join us to talk about what’s allowed or not within the Northfield city ADU ordinance.

We’ll also have a representative from Yard Homes a non-profit builder providing ADU’s throughout Minnesota.  We will also hear from a person who will be utilizing a Yard Home to add an Accessory Dwelling Unit right here in Northfield!

Questions: Contact Patty Ciernia at FiftyNorth (507) 664-3709 or resources@fiftynorth.org
